Considered concealer as makeup

This is the right way to apply concealer

application

Dab the concealer with an applicator, beauty blender or brush on pimples, redness etc. as well as under the eye. Spread the color generously above the cheekbones (in an inverted triangle shape). Don't forget the inner corners of your eyes, this ensures an extra alert look.

Gently "tap in" the dots with your ring finger - do not rub, otherwise wrinkles will form! After applying the concealer, fix the end result with a powder. Then apply make-up as usual.

We asked: Concealer in the test

5th place: Rival de Loop Natural Touch Concealer

4th place: Maybelline Everfresh Concealer

3rd place: Max Factor Mastertouch Under-eye Concealer

2nd place: Catrice Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer

1st place: Mac Pro Longwear Concealer

5 tips: what else the concealer is there for

Our beauty tool is only good for covering dark circles? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! The concealer can do a lot more and helps us with some make-up problems:

Tip 1: eyeshadow

Before applying make-up, apply a thin layer of concealer to the moveable eyelid. Works like a primer: it evens out color differences and the eyeshadow lasts longer.

Tip 2: eyeliner

A lot of practice is required for the perfect eyeliner. A liquid concealer plus a sharp-edged brush helps to hide small blunders - works like a tip for the face.

Tip 3: Foundation

If you run out of BB care, simply apply the day cream with a few drops of liquid concealer. The mixture is perfect as an alternative foundation.

Tip 4: eyebrows

The concealer can be used to optically fill in gaps or uncleanly plucked brows: Simply insert them into the gaps along the outer line and then fix with brow powder.

Tip 5: lips

For a fuller kissable mouth, apply a little concealer to the center of the lips and work outwards with your fingertip. Also works as a lip liner: Simply line your mouth with a little concealer - and the lipstick stays where it is.
